Crown of Polyhedra

The medium-sized wall is crowned by seven polyhedra. Among them are the five platonic solids tetrehedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron, as well as a rhombic dodecahe-dron and a cubeoctahedron. Each of the platonic solids is bounded by regular polygons. In case of the tetrahedron, the octahedron and the icosahedron these are equilateral triangles, the cube is bounded by squares and the dodecahedron by regular penta-gons. The rhombic dodecahedron has twelve congruent faces with equal sides, but unequal angles. The faces of the cubeoctahedron all are regular polygons, but both triangles and squares occur.
