Put the rope along the lines in such a way that each line is covered exactly once. Is this always possible? Can you start at any point? The Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707–1783) found a general pattern for systems of lines that can be covered this way.

The Adventureland Mathematics is part of a municipal technology museum: Technische Sammlungen Dresden.
The museum can easily be reached by car as well as by public transport, i.e., bus and tram. For the latter, the tram lines 4 and 10 and the bus line 61 are suitable. For further information you may want to consult the website of Dresden's public transportation DVB (currenly in German only). The bus and tram stops closest to the venue are named Pohlandplatz, Technische Sammlungen.
